ClearSkin is the first technology to combine a non-ablative laser with simultaneous contact cooling and vacuum technology to treat acne and acne vulgaris safely and effectively. While there are many treatment options available for acne, both prescription and over-the-counter, these do not work for everyone. When acne is particularly stubborn or severe a more advanced solution, such as ClearSkin, may be needed.

Spider veins are small clusters of red, blue or purple veins that often appear on the legs and face. They can be a source of discomfort and self-consciousness for many but they can be treated quickly and safely using our advanced skin laser.

We use a long pulse thermal laser (LP YAG) technology to effectively reduce the appearance of spider veins through a targeted approach that delivers precise bursts of energy to the affected blood vessels. When the LP YAG laser is directed at the spider veins, the energy is absorbed by the haemoglobin in the blood, causing the blood vessel walls to collapse and seal shut. As a result, the treated veins gradually fade from view over time, typically within a few weeks, as the body naturally reabsorbs and eliminates the damaged vessels.

Our Harmony XL Pro Q-Switched Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser is ideal for treating darker ink colours (black, blue and green), while the 532 nm wavelength is effective for brighter ink colours (red, orange and yellow).

The mechanical Q-Switched effect works by vibrating and breaking down the ink particles in the tattoo. As the area heals, the body’s immune system flushes away the shattered ink particles, causing the tattoo to fade with minimal risk of scarring or hyperpigmentation.

We will assess the tattoo during an in-depth consultation and will then either apply a numbing cream. The length of treatment depends on the size of the tattoo.

During treatment, you will feel a hot zapping sensation which will only last while the area is being treated.

here may be some heat in the area following treatment, but this will dissipate quickly. Each treatment becomes less painful as we break down the pigment throughout the duration of your course of sessions.

Following tattoo removal with you may experience some blistering, scabbing, swelling and heat sensation in the treated area. Although this may look worrying it is a normal occurrence with tattoo removal and will heal. You should let the area heal and avoid touching it.

You should keep the treated area clean and ensure clothes do not rub against it. You should avoid hot baths or other extremes of temperature for 48 hours. Swimming, sun and sunbeds should be avoided in between treatments and until the area is fully healed and you must not scratch or pick at the skin as this may cause an infection.
